Unfactory is a music project, which tries to express the Gothicism of 80’s under the influences of techno and industrial cultures, mixing distorted guitars, synths, experimental elements and lyrics with romance aims.
The project has its been in Florianópolis, SC (Brazil) in the first half of 2001 inspired mostly by Nine Inch Nails music and has its first album Negative concluded on march 2003. A constantly worry of it’s founders (Chris and Deedee) was to keep the album’s atmosphere loyal to the history script such as make clear them influences like (Nine Inche Nails, Depeche Mode, Dead Can Dance, Rammstein,..). During the recordings, the needs of inclusion of organic elements make necessary needs other members: Fabio Della Giustina (Aerocirco) Drums, Rubi Agustin Didjeridoo, e Leonardo Barbi Piano. All the production and recording s, except the drums were made in a home studio using a PC and a Mac, this fact delay the releasing of Negative.

The album has eight tracks, three of them with vocals, which try to describe the psychology aspects of a man during a frustrated love affair.
